An evergreen, shrubby perennial. Small, elliptical, mid-green leaves are paired along stiff, square stems. Throughout the year, broad lipped, pale salmon coloured, tubular flowers are abundantly produced on short spikes.
One of the smaller growing shrubby Salvias.
Very hardy providing there is full sun and good drainage.
Dead head regularly to promote flowering.
Not as leggy as some of the other S. x jamensis cultivars, such as S. ‘Sensation’, tending more towards S. gregii.
One of our own introductions, selected for it's compact growth, colour and habit of opening a large number of flowers simultaneously, instead of in pairs as often can happen.
